More than 40 years since establishment in 1963. ASTI has been continuously working towards the needs of society and the customer. Success at ASTI can be attributed to the desire to look at the next generation as a challenge while also looking at the requirements of the changing times. From Establishment to 1970

1963 May	Founded Pen Oil Sales Company in Asada-Cho, Hamamatsu-Shi, Shizuoka. Started sales of oil products like lubricants for automobiles and ships.
1965 April	Started assembling and machining piano action parts.
1966 April	Changed the name of the corporation to Pacific Enterprise Company.
1966 November	Started assembling and tuning organ mechanisms
1967 January	Transferred operations for oil product parts to Taiheiyou Sekiyu Corp.
1968 September	Started production of wire harnesses for electronic organs. Production of Harnesses
1969 April	Started production of audio amplifiers Audio Amplifiers
1969 May	Established a new electronics factory in Enshuuhama, Hamamatsu-Shi, Shizuoka to expand production of audio amplifiers.

From 1971 to 1980

1972 June	Established the new Nishijima factory in Nishijima-Cho, Hamamatsu-Shi, Shizuoka to expand production of wire harnesses for electronic organs.
1972 June	Inaugurated the department for development of technology
1972 July	Started production of wire harnesses for two wheeled vehicles
1974 August	Established a new stereo factory (currently Fukushima Factory) in Fukushima-Cho, Hamamatsu-Shi, Shizuoka to expand production of stereo amplifiers. Stereo Factory
1976 September	Started a day care center in the company to improve the work environment for female employees. (Section 1 of Promotion of Subsidies for Hamamatsu-Shi Employees) Day care center
1977 June	Moved head office to the Nishijima factory.
1979 February	Established Tai Ruey Electrical Industries Co. Ltd. in Taiwan as an overseas joint venture and started production of wire harnesses.
1979 August	Started production of car radios. Car Radios
1979 October	Established Taiheiyou Electronics Co. Ltd. as a subsidiary in Irino-Cho, Hamamatsu-Shi, Shizuoka to produce printed boards for electronics. Taiheiyou Electronics Co. Ltd.
1979 December	Established Asia Components Co. Ltd. as a subsidiary in Ichino-Cho, Hamamatsu-Shi, Shizuoka to produce audio products.

From 1981 to 1990

1982 March	Started production of answering machines for America. Answering Machines
1982 November	Established a new electronics factory (currently Ryuyo Factory) in Ryuyo-Cho, Iwata-Gun, Shizuoka (currently Iwata-Shi) to expand production of wireless harnesses and answering machines.
1983 May	Started production of electronic control boards for home electronics.
1983 June	Started bike audios and started production for America. Bike Audio
1983 July	Started the brand logo ASTI.
1983 July	Decided on “ASTIQS” as the ASTI quality assurance system. ASTIQ
1983 September	Changed the name of the corporation to Asti Pacific Corp.
1984 March	Started production of satellite receivers for America. Satellite Receiver “SKYTOUCH”
1986 April	Established ASTI Corporation of America in the USA as an overseas subsidiary. Started production and sales of audio equipment. ASTI Corp.of America
1987 July	Started production of programmable controllers.
1988 October	Established the new Asaba Factory in Asaba-Cho, Iwata-Gun, Shizuoka (currently Fukuroi-Shi) to expand the electronic circuit board production department because of an increase in the production of satellite receivers and acoustic equipment. Monterey

From 1991 to 2000

1992 January	Changed the name of the corporation to Asti Corp.
1992 January	Liquidated the overseas subsidiary ASTI Corporation of America.
1992 April	Opened a precision plastic molding department. View of the line at the Hamamatsu South Factory (currently Fukushima Factory) in 1992.
1993 April	Opened the Miyakoda Technical Center in the Hamamatsu Technopolis in Shin-Miyakoda, Hamamatsu-Shi, Shizuoka.
1993 April	Started production of pagers. Pager
1993 September	Started treatment of wire bonding for magnetic heads. Treatment of Wire Bonding
1994 February	Opened the Tokyo office in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
1994 April	Started domestic production and sales of BS tuners for mounting in vehicles and homes. BS Tuner [CT800J]
1994 April	Opened the Kansai office (currently Kansai Factory) in Settsushi, Osaka.
1994 July	Started production and sales of signal mirrors for assistance in evacuation. Signal Mirror
1994 December	Established Zhejiang ASTI Electric Co. Ltd. in China as an overseas subsidiary.
1994 December	Established Hangzhou ASTI Electronics Co. Ltd. in China as an overseas subsidiary.
1995 June	Changed the name of the corporation in the Articles of Incorporation to ASTI Corp.
1995 August	Started production of circuit boards for mobile phones. Mobile Phones
1995 September	Listed in the second section of the Nagoya Stock Exchange. Increased capital to 1.15 billion yen
1996 January	Developed and sold BS receiver sets used in times of disaster BS Set Used in Times of Disaster
1996 March	Moved the head office to Fukushima-Cho
1997 August	Increased the area at Asaba Factory.
1997 August	Merged the Taiheiyou Electronics Co. Ltd. and ASTI Orbix Corp. Name of the new company is Astom Corp.
1998 January	Started production of thin film magnetic heads. Production of Thin Film Magnetic Heads
1998 February	Moved the Tokyo office to Chuuou-ku, Tokyo and started the Tokyo Technical Center including a technical department. Tokyo Technical Center
1998 March	Acquired the ISO9002 certification for the Ryuyo factory.
1998 September	Established the ASTI Electronics Corporation in Vietnam as a joint venture with Sumitomo Corp.
1999 March	Acquired the ISO9001 certification. (Head office/ Chuuou annex/ Miyakoda Technical Center/ Miyakoda Factory/ Ryuyo Factory/ Asaba Factory) ISO9001 Certification
2000 April	Changed the name of subsidiary Astom Corp. to ASTI Plus Corp.

From 2001 to 2010

2002 May	Acquired ISO14001 certification for the Asaba factory. ISO14001 Certification
2002 November	Corrected the name incorporated in registration to ASTI Corp. in the Articles of Incorporation.
2002 December	Listed in the second section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
2003 March	Merged the subsidiary ASTI Plus Corp.
2003 March	Closed the Tokyo Technical Center to centralize the technical departments.
2003 August	Acquired the ISO14001 certification for the Ryuyo Factory/ Fukushima Factory/ Miyakoda Factory.
2004 March	Increased the area in the Asaba factory.
2004 November	Established ASTI Electronics India Private Limited in India as an overseas subsidiary. ASTI ELECTRONICS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED
2005 December	Hangzhou ASTI Electronics Co. Ltd, a subsidiary of ASTI in China, completed the factory construction and started operations. Zhejiang ASTI Electric Co. Ltd.
2005 December	Issued 1.1 million new shares by means of public offering and third party allocation, increasing the company’s total share capital to 1,839.43 million Japanese Yen.
2006 January	Introduced the solar photovoltaic system into Asaba Factory for the initial case of the CO2 reduction program to be proceeded by Asti group.
2006 November	Incorporated Asti Electronics Hanoi Corporation, a new subsidiary in Vietnam ASTI ELECTRONICS HANOI CORPORATION
2006 December	Issued 0.7 million shares by means of public offering and third party allocation, increasing the company’s total share capital to 2,396.63 million Japanese Yen.
2007 January	Issued 0.1 million shares by means of third party allocation, increasing the company’s total share capital to 2,476.23 million Japanese Yen.
2007 March	Built a new head office/factory in Yonezu-cho, Minami-ku, Hamamatsu and transferred the head office functions to the new office.
2008 April	Started FA equipment sales business.
2009 January	Entered the mobile power electronics business. Announced the experimental vehicle “evivo.” evivo

From 2011 to 2020

2011 January	Acquired ISO/TS16949 (Fukuroi Factory and Miyakoda Factory).

2015 April	Delisted shares from the second section of the Nagoya Stock Exchange.
2017 July	Completed the construction of a new factory in Vietnam (ASTI ELECTRONICS CORPORATION).
2017 August	Established ASTI INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED in India as an overseas subsidiary.
2017 October	Implemented a reverse stock split (five shares to one share) at the same time as changing the unit number of our shares (from 1,000 shares to 100 shares).
2018 December	Established ASTI RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT VIETNAM CORPORATION in Vietnam as an overseas subsidiary. ASTI RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT VIETNAM CORPORATION
